Well located for passing through. Clean, modern, good quality food and drink but small portions and not cheap.
Delightful. Soup, sandwiches and toasties were beautifully presented and delicious. Surroundings tasteful. Gift shop very interesting. Lovely afternoon out.
Just moved to the area, and wanted to try this caf.. it's lovely, and much more than a caf.. it stocks some unusual gifts and bits & bobs for the home, as well as fresh veg. Adjoining the Scrib Tree is a little art gallery which had some beautiful artwork and jewellery. Oh, and the coffee was great, and perfectly hot!
Popped in for a coffee and cake. Very friendly staff, good menu. Also has a gift shop with a good selection of Scottish gins. Will definitely visit again
Table service here which was unexpected but something which we were grateful for. Food was lovely. Limited selection of light lunch food but very tasty. Great coffee and some nice cold drinks available. Immaculate surroundings to dine in and decor is up-market country. Gift store and fresh produce available. Ample flat parking just outside. No steps (stairs) to the entrance so good for those with limited mobility.
