Very welcoming staff great food very nice experience.
Shocking service, stayed 5 nights only person in the hotel. On arrival no one at desk. There is a bell to summon asistance pressed that for 20mins no-one came. Had a wee walk round found the bar there was both staff sitting have a meal. Why would all your staff go for a break at the same time. The food, well first night had the burger, nicely burnt buns just what you like.... Let's just say didn't get any better. Seeing as work is paying for it not much choice to go anywhere else. Each day coming back to the hotel I would take myself upstairs to my room just to find my key card didn't work. Bed leans to one side not sure when that mattress was last replaced but did find myself rolling of the edge a few times, so the pillows, OK if you like to climb a set of ladders to get your head on one, not my cup of tea though. TV in room folder says you get all sorts of channels, only thing you get is northern Ireland itv. Did ask about that but no one has given me an answer yet... I could go on but I'm stuck here another night.... If you can just keep on moving and find somewhere else.
Had a good night here at a party, old fashioned rooms and saw deer wandering on the lawn when we got up
Had great meal of fish and chips and my family had a pleasant stay in a nice old building with friendly staff give the place a try for coffee or a room and chip e of breakfast is fantastic
Stayed for a few nights. Staff were very friendly and the rooms were nice. Breakfast on first morning was fantastic but the next two mornings weren't great. On the second morning we waited over an hour for breakfast only to be told after asking that the kitchen electrics had blown. That is no ones fault but please tell us instead of leaving us just sitting there. Don't order blueberry pancake stack,no blue berries and no stack just two very soggy crepes swimming in maple syrup. I ordered smoked salmon bagel two mornings only to be told both times that the salmon had not come in.
