One if the nicest B & B, Alan and Avril are such lovely people and can't do enough for you, such kind people. Their beautiful place is stunning and done to a very high standard, fab location.
What a fantastic little gem remote, yet also conveniently, located. When I arrived I was welcomed by Alan. The guest house is being extended, but from the inside and out it still had character. Its a shame not too many of my clients are based in the area, as Id like to stay here again. The beds are very comfortable. I stayed in The Wallace. As there was ongoing work, for telephone/WiFi signal, I had to sit in the stunning kitchen/dining area to ring my family. Not really an issue.The rooms are well heated and TVs are a good size.The shower in the bathroom was fantastic. Dual shower and no loss of pressure.Definitely recommend staying here if in the area.. or for a quiet break away from it all!
My wife and I really enjoyed our time here, very clean and very comfortable.Hosts were very welcoming and cater for anything you could want, and property was perfectly located for us.Breakfast was awesome and enjoyed my first haggis there. We would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again if we come back this way.
Best bed and breakfast Super room, excellent bed. Lovely touch with a dram of whisky and wine. Wonderful hosts. Excellent breakfast with good local produce. Very attentive hosts
The best guest house I've been to. Has a cosy, family feel to it. We were very lucky with the weather and so we're able to enjoy our breakfast in the patio, enjoying the scenery and the sounds of the birds in the garden. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a b&b on the outskirts of Glasgow who is looking for a more rural and peaceful place to stay. I will be back
